Futuristic PC's

In the future I would like to imagine a world where computers never crash. Virus' are such a hassle and with all these new programs that are developing I could forsee a new software that REALLY does help protect our computers. Not only would I like to see that, but I would also like to see more free downloads that can honestly be useful. I feel companies dont give enough free trials of softwares, and it could be really nice to try something for maybe 90 days and then having to purchase it to own it. Im not saying all companies dont do that now, Im just saying not enough of them do it.

My favorite video doesnt have a particular name, and it isnt a well known song but it is by far the most intresting song i've heard in a while. The controversy that it has caused surprises me and makes me want to show everyone. Although religion is a touchy subject, I am a proud christian and every chance i get to learn more about whats going on in the "world", I embrace it. I love this video because it is based on the "defaming" of a very popular rap artist- JAY Z; who calls himself "HOVA" ( jay- hova = God) and the rapper in this song is calling him out on all the things that we as christians believe is satanic. Like I said religion is a touchy subject and I dont mean disrespect anyone by what I say but I honestly must agree with what I have heard and I'd recommend it to everyone, it's catchy and has a good message!

A world without computers..... MAYHEM!

What do I think the world would be like without computers? Pretty much chaos. People depend on computers. Business's in general generate all their work from a pc. Information is stored and processed through files and the web. There is a myth that says: that if we were to completely eliminate computer usage or computers in all our world would be absolute mayhem, and I agree. Now what would Imiss the most? The ability to store information like pictures, files, and music! Ive always like the idea of just being able to look up my music or pictures and just looking at them, reminscing of the good times or just jamming out to some good ole' christian music.

Computer Negitives?

I have spent so many days hunting for a great computer with no risks, and a reasonable price. Needless to say i've given up, there is really no computer out that will be perfect. Now'a days we have to worry about computer crashes, viruses, and people hacking into your system and taking all of your personal information. I remember our first desktop computer crashed, there was nothing we could do to ever revive it. My current laptop now was infested with viruses, it took three days to clean it out and install a protective program onto it.I have never personally had my computer hacked into but it is becoming a serious problem, identity theft is growing rapidly in the U.S, that is why its crucial to update and protect our system and personal information.

Hardware and Software in the Business Place.

I must say computers are used everywhere, I used to work for the Lions Eye Institute in Tampa. I was given my own computer, in which I was was asked to work off software(s) such Filemaker Pro and Microsoft Office 2007. I was basically updating doctor files and cleaning out their system. I just recently got hired to work for Immigration Services, this job is mostly imputing, the hardware used is Windows and software that ill mostly be using is a governmental based system. I havn't been trained to use it yet but im very anxious.

Software Application!

I love new programs, I have a few im very intrested in exploring. I recently purchased Microsoft Office 2007 and Adobe Photoshop, two highly used programs. I would like to learn more about both these applications. Microsoft Office 2007 is probably the one im most excited to learn about because, its something that i can take with me as i get older and as i look for a job. Most companies look at what were able to do with this program and sometimes wont hire you if you cant even work Mircosoft Word. Adobe Photoshop is another one that has caught my attention. I have seen so many projects evolve by the using of this program and I myself cant figure out how to even change the color schemes of a picure. It amazes me how theres so many different options and thats what i find most impressive. While taking this course i hope to atleast learn more about one of these applications.

Internet Influence In My Life.

The internet has brought alot of curiosity to my life. I've always found my way around the web, when i was younger it was all about the games, now i cant say the same. Its almost like if life revovles around technology. There are times when i sit and think to myself, why am I so involved with the internet? The only answer I could think of was; society has made us this way. When you think back to the old days you dont hear about computers having such an impact on us, nowadays we sometimes cant go a day or a week without connecting. I personally believe the influence the internet has had in my life hasnt been a bad one. I've learn many things from being able to use a computer and as i grow up i expect to learn many more.
